Getting started
How long does setup take?
The CRM can be live the same day. A process such as orders or store tasks is set up with our team, usually within a few weeks.
Do I need to change how my staff work?
No. Your team keeps sending orders, requests and bookings on WhatsApp the way they do now. What changes is that each one gets an owner, a deadline and a status, and UpMatrix does the follow-up.
Can my team use it on their phones?
Yes. The UpMatrix app is on the Play Store and App Store, and the register works on mobile.
Can I use my existing WhatsApp number?
Yes, after migrating it to the Business API, or start with a new number.
WhatsApp and Meta
Does UpMatrix use Meta's supported WhatsApp connection?
Yes. UpMatrix is a Meta Business Partner and uses Meta's supported WhatsApp infrastructure, not a hacked WhatsApp Web session.
Will my number get blocked?
Numbers get blocked for unapproved templates and messaging people who did not opt in. We set up templates and opt-in with you so the account stays healthy.
What does a WhatsApp message cost?
Meta charges per delivered template message, with rates based on the message category and recipient market. Some messages are free under Meta's rules. UpMatrix adds no markup; the current rate card is linked on the pricing page.
Plans and billing
What is included in the plan price?
Your core plan includes the listed CRM features and lets you receive and view orders placed through WhatsApp. One workflow and its setup are included with your chosen plan and apps. Apps needed for business-specific processes are priced separately.
What is included in the 7-day trial?
The trial includes the apps selected for your business needs, not every UpMatrix app. You can try those selected apps for 7 days.
Do the plan prices include GST and Meta's message fees?
No. Prices exclude GST. Meta's applicable message fees are billed separately by Meta, with no markup from UpMatrix.
What does it cost to run the apps?
Choose a Pro or Business core plan and add the apps your business needs. The pricing calculator shows the estimated yearly total for your selected plan and apps. Business-specific order-entry methods, salesperson-led orders, pricing rules and team handoffs require the relevant paid app. One workflow and setup are included with your chosen plan and apps.

Who owns the data?
You do. Your data is yours, each customer's data is kept separately, and contacts, orders and tasks can be exported when you leave.
